What is the Pakistan Floods Appeal?
The Pakistan Floods Appeal is World Aid Network’s Pakistan emergency relief page. It is also called the Pakistan Emergency Appeal. Please donate for food, clean water, hygiene kits and shelter for families displaced by flooding in Pakistan. Local partners deliver the help. We do not rebuild cities from this appeal.
When the monsoon comes in, a family can lose everything that keeps them alive: the roof, the well, the rice that was meant to last the season. They wade out with what they can carry. Then they wait. That wait is where your donation matters.

Catastrophic flooding has affected tens of millions of people and damaged or destroyed well over a million homes in the disaster period this appeal answers. Harvests were lost. Drinking sources were spoiled. That is hunger and thirst on top of a ruined house.

Why does a lost harvest become hunger months later?

How do you reach remote flood-affected areas in Pakistan?
We work with local partner organisations who already know the communities. When roads are impassable they use boats, motorbikes and, where necessary, air drops. Please donate so those teams have food, water and shelter to take with them.
Women, children and older people face the greatest risks in displacement. Partners are asked to prioritise them. We do not send cash to individuals. Please give so the next boat is not empty.
How does my donation reach a family in Pakistan?
You donate. Trustees release funds to local partners in Pakistan. They buy food, water and shelter materials nearby and deliver them. Please donate so that chain can start. A gift here becomes help on the ground.
Buying locally is faster, and it is kinder. A shopkeeper in a damaged town still has a customer. A family does not wait for a container from Europe.
